Sgt Andres Gonzalez is an US Army veteran who started his military service at the age of 18. His tours of duty include serving in both Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom. He started his Law Enforcement career in the wake of Hurricane Katrina in Iberia Parish in 2005 and in 2008 received officer of the year for his hard work and dedication. In 2011, Andres started his employment with the Broussard Police Department Patrol Division and transitioned to several specialized Divisions such as Traffic and Criminal Patrol. In 2015, Andres received recognition as officer of the year for his dedicated service and contributions to the community.
