Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must have a valid civil service test score
- Pass extensive background investigation
- Pass psychological evaluation
- Pass VSA (voice stress analysis) examination
- Pass medical examination including drug screen & physical
- Must be a high school graduate
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- No felonies or misdemeanor charges that would prohibit you from carrying a firearm
- Must be a registered voter
